Terms of service
Last updated: 7 September 2026
These are the terms for using 1FoodMenu. They are short on purpose. If anything here is unclear, ask us before you rely on it.
1. Agreeing to these terms
By creating an account or publishing a page you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you are signing up for a business, you confirm you are allowed to act for it.
2. What 1FoodMenu is
1FoodMenu gives a restaurant or food truck a one-page website at 1food.menu/@name: the menu with photos and prices, opening hours, location on a map, contact buttons, and for food trucks a weekly schedule of locations. You edit it from the dashboard at app.1food.menu.
It is not an ordering system, a payment service or a website builder. It shows your page and points customers to your phone, WhatsApp, email or the links you add.
3. Plans and pricing
- Free. The full page: menu, photos, allergens, hours, location, contact buttons, QR code and link. Up to two pages in one account. Free pages may show third-party advertising. The plan has no end date.
- Pro. Everything in Free, no advertising, scheduled updates and promos, and embedding your menu on your own website. Billed yearly.
Current prices are on the pricing section. We can change prices for future billing periods and will email you at least 30 days before a change affects you.
4. Billing
Pro is paid through Stripe and renews automatically at the end of each yearly period unless you cancel first. Cancel any time from the dashboard; Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then the account returns to Free. We do not refund part of a period unless the law where you live requires it.
5. Your account
Keep your login to yourself and keep your email address current, since that is where we send billing and account notices. You are responsible for what happens under your account. One person may manage more than one page in one account.
6. Your content
Everything you put on your page stays yours: names, descriptions, prices, photos, logo and locations. You give us permission to store it, resize it and show it on your page, in previews of your page such as link cards, and in the QR code and embed that point to it. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in backups, which expire on their own.
Only upload photos and text you have the right to use.
7. Accuracy of your page
Customers act on what your page says. You are responsible for keeping prices, allergens, availability, hours and locations correct. We do not check this content and are not liable to you or to your customers for mistakes in it. Allergen tags help customers ask the right questions; they are not a substitute for your own allergen procedures.
8. Your page name
You choose the name after the @ in your address. Names are first come, first served. If you change it, the old address redirects to the new one for 14 days, then it becomes available to others. We may change or reclaim a name that impersonates another business, infringes a trademark, or is offensive, and we will tell you if we do.
9. Acceptable use
You may not use 1FoodMenu to:
- publish content that is false, misleading, unlawful or harmful, or that impersonates another business;
- publish anything you do not have the right to publish;
- scrape, copy or resell other vendors' pages or our service;
- interfere with the service, other accounts or the systems behind them.
10. Reviews and reports
Where a page accepts customer reviews, you can hide any review from your page but not edit it. We may remove reviews or content that are abusive, unlawful or clearly fake. Anyone can report a page from the page itself; we look at every report and act where these terms are broken.
11. Availability
We aim to keep pages up around the clock, but we do not promise it. The service depends on third parties such as Supabase, BunnyCDN and Stripe, and can be interrupted by them, by maintenance or by faults. We may change or retire features; if a change removes something you pay for, you can cancel and we refund the unused part of your period.
12. Advertising on Free pages
Free pages show advertising served by Google AdSense: one unit beside the menu on a desktop screen and one small bar at the bottom of a phone screen, which appears a few seconds after the page opens and can be closed. We do not choose the individual ads, we do not endorse them, and the advertiser has no access to your page or your content. The ads are chosen by Google from what it knows about the visitor and about the page, so an ad can be for another food business.
Pro removes advertising from your page. Demo pages and pages with an empty menu show no advertising on any plan. We may change the number, size or position of the units on Free pages; if we add a unit that covers content, we will say so in these terms first. You must not click ads on your own page or ask anyone to, and you must not cover, move or hide the units with code of your own. Either can get the advertising account closed for every page on the service.
13. Our intellectual property
The software, design and the 1FoodMenu name and logo are ours. These terms give you the right to use the service, not ownership of any part of it.
14. Ending the agreement
You can delete your account at any time from the dashboard; your page goes offline straight away and your data is removed as described in the privacy policy. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will say why unless the law prevents it.
15. Liability
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost business or profits, or for anything arising from content on your page. For anything else, our total liability to you in any year is limited to what you paid us in that year. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
16. Changes to these terms
If these terms change in a way that matters, we email vendors at least 14 days before the change applies and update the date at the top. Using the service after that date means you accept the new terms.
17. Contact
